Yasmin Meyers is a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) with 18 years of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families with various concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, divorce, and other life transitions. In her work with children and adolescents, Yasmin engages parents to generalize and maximize treatment progress and to provide support for the family system at large.
Treatment Approach
Yasmin strives to create a safe, non-judgmental environment to allow individuals to engage in the therapeutic process fully and comfortably. In this safe space, clients can reach their inherent potential for self-growth and develop adaptive behaviors and coping mechanisms to promote well-being.
Yasmin’s approach is strength-based and person-centered, and she tailors her interventions according to her clients’ needs. She draws from extensive training in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness training.
Education
Yasmin received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Catholic University of America in 2004. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Tel-Aviv in 2000. Yasmin is a Board Approved Supervisor.
Yasmin has completed Level II of the Gottman Method Couples Training and is certified in the Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) program. She also has extensive training in Play Therapy and Sandplay Therapy.

Yasmin is fluent in Hebrew and offers therapy in English and Hebrew.
